Winemaker Denis Malbec was born at the famed Château Latour and learned vineyard and winery management at a very early age. He was the third generation of his family to work at Latour, beginning with his grandfather in the 1920's. Following in the footsteps of his father who worked there from the age of fourteen and was Cellar Master from 1969 to 1994, Denis took over as Cellar Master from 1994 to 2000. May-Britt Malbec was born in Sweden and began her wine career as a sommelier in some of Stockholm's top restaurants. In 1992 she won the award for Best Sommelier in the Nordic Countries, and has served on international sommelier judging panels. In 2000 Denis and May-Britt started their own business as international winemaking consultants and joined the Paradise View team in 2002.
